Verify an Execution Intent

Checks a signed Execution Intent offline: the hash and the Ed25519 signature. An intent is written before an approved action is released.

Parameters

ExecutionIntent

The intent. GET /execution-intents/{businessTransactionId} returns it under the intent key: pass response.intent, not the whole response.

Record<string, string | KeyObject>

Maps the intent’s signature.keyId to its public key, as for Trust Records.

Returns

The same OfflineVerificationResult as verifyExecutionTrustRecordOffline, without hybridSignaturesValid: intents are not hybrid signed. hashValid compares intentHash.

What a valid intent proves

The holder of the key signed this intent, and it has not changed since. It does not prove the action was released or what the result was. For that, verify the Trust Record for the same businessTransactionId.
